It had always been their dream to retire and move to the Myrtle Beach area. Once Carole saw Carolina Forest, she could not wait to build a house and put down new roots. Those roots were nurtured in Waterford Plantation where Carole hs served on the Modifications Committee and is active within her development as well as currently writing a weekly column, A Week In Waterford, for the CF Chronicle.
Carole previously worked in the Aviation Industry in Parts Distribution and had previously chaired an Aviation Industry Annual Convention that was an international event. Carole was also active in the Levittown Fire Department with her late husband, Doug, in Levittown, LI, NY as officer of their Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Nassau County Firemen's Association. She served as President of both organizations and had been active in Fund Raisers, Charities, and Community Events.
Carole has one daughter, Krystle, married to Michael, and one very precious Grandson, Brantley, born in September of 2010. Carole believes CF has an enormous potential for us all to enjoy and prosper for all our children and Grandchildren. Carole believes in the Civic Association and is proud to be a member. We have so much more we can do, but we need you to become involved.

Diana Lawler, At-Large Member
I am Diana Lawler and I was raised in Montrose, New York. My family and I moved to Carolina Forest in 2004. I continue to volunteer in both schools that my children attend. I have also been actively involved within the HOA that we reside. Since 2005, I have been involved with Avalon's Advisory Committee, as a Street Representative as well as serving as the Entertainment and Activities Committee Chairman. I became a member of the Carolina Forest Civic Association in 2009 volunteering on the Public Relations Committee. As we began discussing the planting of trees and becoming involved with Keep Horry County Beautiful and litter clean-ups, I assumed position as Families In The Forest Chairman. I shortly after assumed position as Board Member, and am currently serving a second term on the Board of Directors for 2011-2013.
As a Berkeley College Graduate of White Plains, NY, I received an AAS Degree in Information Processing and English. Courses of study include: Psychology, Accounting, Economics, Sociology, and English in Communications. I graduated in 1988 on the Presidents List. I held positions at a Telecommunications Corporation where my responsibilities included customer service, sales, financial and legal. I am also a member of the Greater Carolina Forest Republican Women's Club, and the Young Republican's Club.
