Carolina Forest Civic Association

I was born in Marshall, Missouri and raised in Kansas City and Bartlesville OK. I have lived in several states due to job relocations. My family and I moved here from Conway, Arkansas. When I was transferred here 19 years ago the first big sign I saw was the Carolina Forest Sign on 501. I pulled in to take a look. I fell in love right away and called back home to let the family know I was looking for a house in Carolina Forest. We moved in a couple months later. I live in Walkers Woods where I have been on the HOA board for 3 different terms and currently serve as a director at large. During those terms I have lead mainly Firewise and Modification committees. I have also helped Beautify Carolina Forest with trash pickup along Carolina Forest Blvd for about 5 years taking care of my section monthly.  I continue to love the whole Carolina Forest area. 

 

I am married to Angie Lubensky. We have 4 children, 2 live here and 1 in Oklahoma and 1 in Texas. We are very blessed to have 7 wonderful grandchildren. Sadly 5 of them live out west. I am retired from 45 years in the movie theatre business both as general manager and District Manager. I am now the Office manager of Carolina Cleaning Crew Pressure Washing and also still work at the movie theatre doing odds and ends. 

 

I would love to see the Civic Association grow so much more. I feel that our voices are better in large numbers. If guest speakers see a large caring crowd at the meeting, they will understand we mean business. My passion is in the growth of the HOA board within the association. I would love to see every single HOA represented at the meetings and will work with those in charge to get this done.
